How to Report Tax Fraud for Federal Income Tax:
Complaints regarding improper claiming of dependents, fraudulent activity by non-Tennessee residents or other issues related to the federal income tax return should be reported to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) at (800) 829-1040 or www.irs.gov.
How to Report Tax Fraud for Employment Issues:
Complaints regarding employment issues, i.e., payroll, etc. should be reported to the Department of Labor and Workforce Development at (615) 741-2858.
